South Haven Area Emergency Services is preparing to serve up some flapjacks with its traditional Memorial Day Pancake Breakfast set for Sunday, May 24 at its station on Blue Star Highway.
SHAES invites the community to come out and help raise funds for mental health initiatives while having pancakes, eggs, sausage, and drinks. Plus, the kids can check out the fire trucks up close.
SHAES says thanks to donations from some generous local businesses, instead of a fixed meal price, patrons are being asked to make a donation. All proceeds will go toward SHAES member mental wellness initiatives.
The pancake breakfast on Sunday will run from 7:30 to 11 a.m.
