The ribbon cutting has been scheduled for the new Warren Hotel now under construction in Bridgman.

We’ve reported the former Bridgman Motel, a longtime staple of the community at 9999 Red Arrow Highway between Lake Street and I-94, has been purchased by Jordan Painter and Tony Stancato, who have been developing it into a boutique experience. Painter told us back in March the place is being transformed.

The front building is going to have a complete facelift,” Painter said. “It’ll be recovered with a much more modern look, and the interior rooms are going to be decorated very high-end, and we’re going to be targeting very exclusive clientele.”

Located between Weko Beach Park and Warren Dunes State Park, the hotel features 24 redesigned guest rooms and a whole slate of amenities.

It has an outdoor swimming pool. We’re going to have pickleball courts. We’re going to have sauna, fire pit, hot tub. Really, going to go all out to have just a really incredible guest experience there.”

Originally built in the 1950s as one of the area’s early roadside motels, the property underwent major structural updates in 2024, including the removal of one wing of the building. Now Painter and Stancato are taking it a step further.

A public ribbon cutting and celebration are now set for Tuesday, June 16, from 4:30 to 7 p.m. at the hotel. The entire community is invited to attend.

The Warren Hotel is preparing to welcome guests for the 2026 summer tourism season. The owners also operate Windmoor Lodge in northern Michigan and say they plan to continue investing in boutique hospitality properties throughout the state.
