The job market will be flooded with new college graduates this spring and the outlook is good for them.
The Robert Half staffing firm’s Shannon Edlinger says there are reasons for optimism.
“The market for new grads and entry-level employees, which we define as about zero to two years of experience, is coming in really steady in 2024,” Edlinger said.
Edlinger says the hot jobs are financial reporting, internal auditors, business analysts, and financial analysts.
Edlinger says the Bureau of Labor Statistics reports that there are 8.9 million job openings.
