The Benton Township Police Department is investigating after two people were shot at Briarwood Apartments on Sunday.
The department says officers were called to the complex at 1985 Union on a report of a disturbance. While at the scene, they heard gunshots coming from the other side of a nearby building.
Officers then found a man and a woman who’d been shot. Both had non-life threatening injuries.
The investigation is ongoing and anyone with information is asked to contact Benton Township police. The names of the victims have not been released.
