Two fugitives from justice are behind bars after several days on the run from law enforcement.

The Van Buren County Sheriff’s office says they’ve arrested 33-year-old Brandon Lee Bloomfield of Lawton, Michigan and 35-year-old Amanda Schiero-Farrow of Mattawan. The two were allegedly involved in a high-speed chase with police in late January but they were able to escape after abandoning their car in a trailer park in Kalamazoo County.

Tuesday, the Department of Corrections received a tip that the two were hiding out at an address in the 23000 block of Lee Drive in Porter Township.

After surveillance on the residence, law enforcement were able to secure a search warrant in the 23000 block of Lee Drive in Porter Township and found the two suspects at about 1:30 pm on Tuesday.

Bloomfield and Schiero-Farrow both surrendered without incident. Detectives say a third subject was arrested at the scene and will be charged with possession of methamphetamine.

Bloomfield faces charges of fleeing and eluding, possession of meth, and parole absconding. Schiero-Farrow had a felony warrant out of Kalamazoo County for dangerous drugs. Both are being held at the Van Buren County Jail on multiple warrants. The case is being forwarded to the Van Buren Prosecutor for formal charges.
