Danny E. Johnson, 66, of Decatur, passed away on Thursday, November 9, 2023 at his home in Decatur. He was born June 15, 1957 in Paw Paw, MI to John and Captiola (McLemore) Johnson.
Danny worked for many years as a sale manager for George Weston Bakeries before his retirement. In his free time, he enjoyed hunting, fishing, and simply being outdoors in nature.
Danny will be missed by his children, Danyelle (Adam) Widing, Danny Johnson, and John Johnson; his grandchildren, Aaron, Tyler, Jaylen, Payton, and Nathan; his mother, Captiola Johnson; and his siblings, Kathy, Betty, Anthony, Shirley, Lori, David, and Randy.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Carol (Hill) Johnson; his brother, Jimmy; and his father, John.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Newell Chapel, Decatur.
