One of Southwest Michigan’s own is making her national television debut.

Brynn Cummings of Paw Paw, Michigan is 12 years old. She’s also a magician and a ventriloquist. She’s been acting and performing for years and Tuesday night, she will be seen performing on NBC’s America’s Got Talent for a chance to win a MILLION DOLLARS and a chance at stardom.

”So we had to send in a video, for like an audition. And they approved it, so then we had to write a script. And then we had to send in a video of the script, and then we flew out. Then we filmed it,” Cummings said. “Performing has really just been a thing that, I guess, has come easy. I used to do dance performances. I do a lot of acting like in plays and stuff. And then once I got into magic and ventriloquism, that’s mostly my main stage stuff now.”

For confidentiality reasons, Brynn can’t say how the performance went on AGT until the program airs. The outcome of the overall AGT competition won’t be known until later this summer.

Brynn says in addition to magic and ventriloquism, she writes, plays music, and likes to hang out with friends. What’s next? Brynn doesn’t know but she says she’ll keep doing what she loves, and that’s entertainment.
