A lot of people would like to move to a four day work week. A Robert Half survey shows 93% of U.S. managers support a four day work week for their team. Recruiting manager Shannon Edlinger says one group really supports the concept.

“Gen X came in at 81%,” says Edlinger. “That is the birthdate between 1965 and 1980. People who have worked for their company between five to nine years, and human resources and administrative professionals.”

Edlinger says a four day work week might not be for every industry.
