State Releases COVID Numbers For Sunday, Monday

New COVID-19 cases to be identified in Michigan for Sunday and Monday total 1,484. The Michigan Department of Health and Human Services says that works out to an average of 742 per each day. The state also reported just three COVID deaths for Sunday and Monday combined, making for a pandemic total of 15,362. Michigan’s had a total more than 581,000 cases of the illness since last March. The state’s coronavirus website shows Berrien County with 32 more cases than on Saturday for a total of 10,541. Berrien County has had 218 deaths, an increase of one over Saturday. Van Buren County on Monday reported twelve new cases over Saturday for a pandemic total of 4,678. The county has had 84 deaths, the same as Saturday.
