Jack Matthew Cronk, 76, of St. Joseph, passed away on Tuesday, September 22, 2020 at Spectrum Lakeland Heath Service.
A private Celebration of Life Service will be held at a later date at Riverview Cemetery, 2925 Niles Road, St Joseph, MI. Jack was born August 29, 1944 in Elkhart, IN to Jack & Lavere (Matthews) Cronk. He graduated from Elkhart High school and then completed his education at Purdue University with a Bachelors of Science in Industrial Management. On June 4, 1966 he married Diane Forry at Saint Paul’s Methodist Church in Elkhart. Jack worked for Whirlpool Corporation as an International Steel Buyer and retired after 37 years of service in 2001. Jack enjoyed boating on Lake Michigan, duck hunting in Allegan and was a professional level water skier. He loved playing golf at Indian Lake Golf Course with the Missing Links and the Berrien County Golf League. Jack was a member of Fairplain Presbyterian Church in Benton Harbor.
Jack is survived by his wife, Diane Cronk; son, Ryan (Deanna) Cronk of Caledonia, MI; grandsons, Matthew Cronk of Caledonia; Nathan Cronk of Ft Drum NY, and Isaac Cronk of Caledonia; brother, Bill (Dorothy) Cronk of Zanesville, OH. Jack was preceded in death by his parents and son Eric Cronk.
