Kathryn was born September 28, 1990 in Berrien Center, the daughter of Samuel and Rita (Miller) Scott. Kathryn’s life was fulfilled through her passions of art, music, family, and friendship. She could bring life to an empty canvas and light up a room with her smile. She had an undeniable ability to see beauty and worth in every person, place, or thing she came in contact with: even if that meant making friends with squirrels. Her charisma, free-spirit, and adventurous soul will be missed by all.

Survivors include her father: Samuel Scott III (Megan Marutz); sisters: Shannon Scott, Crystal (Dusty) Taylor, and Kaleigh Scott; stepbrother, Justin Marutz; her fiancé, Nate Rudolph, and their fur-baby, Aurora; grandparents: Shirley Scott, Robert and Nancy Curtis; nieces and nephews: Jaylin Scott, Carmen Taylor, Layla Scott, Jonathan Scott, Molly Scott, Penelope Lannert, and Quentin Lannert.

Kathryn was preceded in death by her mother Rita Scott and her grandfather, Samuel Scott, Jr.

Arrangements entrusted to Pike Funeral and Cremation Services, Boyd Chapel, 9191 Red Arrow Hwy, Bridgman.
