Joshua M. Kline, 41, of St. Joseph, passed away Tuesday, September 15, 2020.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, September 23, 2020 at Starks & Menchinger Chapel, 2650 Niles Rd., St. Joseph, with Rev. James Matthews officiating. Burial will follow at Hickory Bluff Cemetery in Stevensville. Friends may visit with the family from 5:00 until 8:00 P.M. Tuesday at the funeral home. Josh was born November 18, 1978 in Danville, Pennsylvania to Loren “Monty” & Nancy Kline. He went to St. Joseph High School and was part of the class of 1998. Josh worked with his father since high school in the family business, Monty Kline Design. After his father’s retirement, Josh took over the business, now known as JMKline Design. On July 27, 2013, he married Joni Weaver in Benton Harbor and in 2017 they welcomed their son Axel, who Josh always said was the greatest joy of his life. Josh was dedicated to his work and family and was a very loving husband & father. He was very talented in design and remodeling. Josh had a kind heart and never backed down from what he believed in. He loved music, especially the blues, and enjoyed playing guitar. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
Josh is survived by his wife Joni; his son Axel; his parents Monty & Nancy Kline of St. Augustine, FL/Stevensville, MI; his sister Monica and brother-in-law Chris Gathright of Stevensville; his father-in-law & mother-in-law Arnie & Margy Weaver of St. Joseph; nieces & nephews Logan, Emma, Olivia, & Amelia Gathright; his paternal grandmother Martha Kline of Boynton Beach, FL; and his cat Mack. He was preceded in death by his mother-in-law Patricia Weaver in 2011.
