COVID-19 won’t stop the St. Joseph Municipal Band from performing a Memorial Day concert. The city says the band will do a virtual concert on this weekend to be featured on its YouTube channel. The Memorial Day Tribute will consist of “Band of Gold,” recorded in a previous season, as well as new virtual performances of “Ashokan Farewell” and “You’re a Grand Old Flag” by the Brass Quintet. The performance will go live on YouTube at noon Saturday.
