Small Increases In COVID-19 Cases, Deaths For Friday In Michigan

Seven new positive cases of coronavirus are being confirmed in Berrien County, bringing the total to date to 571 with 43 deaths. That number is up by three from Thursday. The Berrien County Health Department says 368 people have recovered, with that figure rising by five. In Cass County, there are 73 cases, up by five, and the number of deaths remains at two. Van Buren County’s cases are up by three to 120 with deaths holding the same at six. Statewide, there are now 53,913 cases and 5,158 deaths. The number of new cases is up by 403 from Thursday, with the number of deaths rising by 29.
