Michigan State Police Collecting Toys This Friday

Michigan State Police out of the Niles post will be doing their annual Stuff a Blue Goose toy drive on Friday. Troopers will be at the Niles Walmart on South Eleventh Street from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. taking donations. They’re working with the Big Brothers Big Sisters of Berrien and Cass Counties to spread some holiday cheer to kids in need around the area. Everyone is invited to stop by the Walmart to make a contribution. In addition to toys, they’ll take food and clothing. Anyone who can’t make it out to the Walmart during the drive can also drop off items at the Michigan State Police post in Niles or at the Big Brothers Big Sisters office in Niles. The drive is called Stuff a Blue Goose because the troopers aim to stuff their cruisers full of items. This is the sixth year Michigan State Police have held the drive.
