Benton Township Restaurant Employee Accused Of Shooting Customer

An employee of Fried Rice & Thangs in Benton Township is wanted by police on accusations of shooting a customer Wednesday afternoon. That victim is a 22-year-old Benton Harbor man who told police from his hospital bed at Spectrum Health Lakeland that he got into an argument with the employee around 1:30 pm and was pushed out the front door. At that point, he says the employee pulled out a gun and shot him one time in the right arm. The business had closed by the time officers arrived, and they’ve not been able to find either the suspect or the owner of the the restaurant.
