John’s guests this week are two people devoted to music from differing backgrounds and “day jobs”. Elizabeth Gray Roll is a teacher of choral music in the Saint Joseph, Michigan school system, bringing young students to appreciate the joy of music in groups and soloists; Jeff Whittaker is a pastor of a Church in Niles, Michigan and has moved from being a serious athlete to an even more serious singer. They came together for a duet at a band concert singing “It’s time to say goodbye” which stunned the audience. They talk of the soul of their musical experiences.
