Indiana Michigan Power Announces Program For Electric Vehicles

print

A new program has been launched by Indiana-Michigan Power to help the owners of electric vehicles save on charging. I&M tells us the Michigan Public Service Commission has signed off on allowing those customers to get lower rates by charging their vehicles during off-peak hours using a sub-meter. The sub-meters would be connected to a customer’s electrical panel and reduce the amount of equipment needed. I&M will install the first 250 sub-meters without an additional monthly service charge. Anyone who wants to know more about the program can check out I&M’s website.
