Present Fathers, Thriving Futures

A Father’s Day PSA Campaign by Present Pillars & Mid-West Family

Fathers are raising leaders, shaping communities, and guiding the next generation with love, strength, and presence. Yet, the stories of present and engaged fathers are often underrepresented.

This campaign, “Present Fathers, Thriving Futures,” is here to change that.

📊 Did You Know?

  • Children with involved fathers are 39% more likely to earn mostly A’s in school. (National Fatherhood Initiative)

  • Youth with an active father figure are 75% less likely to experience teen pregnancy, incarceration, or substance abuse. (CDC)

  • Engaged fatherhood is linked to stronger mental health in children and a more resilient family unit.

👣 Tips for Staying Present

  1. Be consistent. Whether it’s a daily call or weekend visits — consistency builds trust.

  2. Listen without fixing. Kids thrive when they feel heard.

  3. Lead by example. Integrity, vulnerability, and accountability are powerful tools.

  4. Show up to grow up. Mentorship and community involvement matter just as much as parenting.

  5. Normalize emotion. Teaching your child that it’s okay to feel is a strength, not a weakness.
