Virginia Kay Scoggin, 74, of Buchanan, MI, passed away on Saturday, October 26, 2019 at her home.
She was born June 2, 1945 in Lafayette, IN to the late William and Virginia Thomas. On November 26, 1962, she married James Donald Scoggin Sr at a ceremony in Buchanan, MI.
Virginia is survived by her husband of 56 years, James; son, Jeff Scoggin; brothers, Robert Grady, Jim Thomas, Benny Grady; sister, Tina Hall; grandchildren, Desiree Scoggin, Michaela Scoggin, James D. Scoggin III, Josh Speer, Dana Lynn, Kaitlyn Penley, Larry Melton; 12 grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents, William and Virginia; son, James D. Scoggin Jr.; stepson, Lynn Melton; daughter, Janetta Kay Scoggin, Judith Ann Scoggin; brother, Bill Thomas; and sister, Rose Grady.
