Sandra Lee Cole, 78, of South Haven, formerly of Kalamazoo and Santa Fe, passed away Monday, September 30, 2019 at River Ridge Memory Facility in South Haven, Michigan. Sandy was born in Detroit, on March 3, 1941 to Armenet and Joseph Procissi. She graduated from Western Michigan University where she met Bill. They were wed on June 23, 1962 and were happily married for 57 years. Sandy was a lover of life. She enjoyed traveling, golf, tennis, listening to music and spending time at the lake. Most of all, she treasured her family and loved to laugh.
She is preceded in death by her parents and her brother – Fred Procissi.
Sandy is survived by her husband, William; Children – Cara, (Marty) Kinna and Kristi (Patrick)Glascott of Glen Ellyn, Illinois, and Steven Cole (Genevieve) of Mazama, Washington; and Grandchildren – Cole and Conno Kinna; Lucy, Josephine, and Phoebe Cole; and Cole and Griffin Glascott.
To honor Sandy’s wishes, there will be no funeral or visitation. The family will hold a private celebration of her life over Thanksgiving in Seattle, Washington. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
