Benton Harbor Mayor Marcus Muhammad will deliver his annual State of the City address later this month, reviewing a decade of progress while outlining priorities for the future.
The city says the presentation will focus on achievements, current initiatives, and long-term plans. Muhammad hinted at a recent city commission meeting that he may have more to say on the opportunities that data centers could provide for Benton Harbor at the address.
The State of the City is scheduled for Tuesday, May 19, at The Inn at Harbor Shores in Benton Harbor. Doors will open at 6:30 p.m. with the mayor’s address set to run from 7 to 8 p.m. A social hour will follow from 8 to 9 p.m., giving residents an opportunity to share ideas for improving the city.
The event will be open to the public.
