The Dyckman Avenue Bascule Bridge in South Haven is back to normal operations after maintenance work on the structure has been completed.
The city of South Haven says for now, the bridge will follow its off-season schedule, but starting April 6, it will open and close on the hour and half-hour from 6 a.m. to 11 p.m. each day.
Beginning on May 1, the hours will extend slightly, with Friday and Saturday operations running until midnight.
The city says boaters who need access outside of normal hours must call ahead, at least 12 hours in advance through April, and then three hours in advance during peak season.
