Terry David Meade, 82, passed away peacefully after a courageous battle with Parkinsons on January 26th, 2026, at Douglas Cove Health and Rehabilitation Center in Douglas, Michigan. Born on September 9th, 1943, in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Terry was the son of Helen “Honey” May Meade and David Meade.
Terry is survived by his three children, David (Lisa) Meade, Steve Meade, and Scott Meade as well as his three grandchildren, Cassidy (Bailey) Borgeld, Taylor Meade, and Ryan Meade.
Terry was a graduate of Aquinas College in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Terry lived a life devoted to faith and service and was always friendly and helpful with everyone he met. After retiring, Terry had his own appliance service company and in his spare time he enjoyed dancing, fishing, fixing things, and golfing with his sons.
A private Celebration of Life is planned by his three sons to have their dad’s ashes spread at his favorite fishing spot in the summer of 2026 in accordance with his wishes.
