For the 70th year, the Air Force will be watching the skies for one special guest.
NORAD monitors the sky 24 hours a day, seven days a week. But tonight, there’s one special person and nine reindeer they’ll have a close eye on, and that’s Santa.
Air Force Chief Master Sergeant John Storms has some tips for every kid.
“I think it’s always exciting to go out and try to see if you can spot Santa, but if you really want Santa to show up at your house, it’s important that you, number one, listen to your parents and get to bed at a decent hour,” Storm said.
Because if you’re not asleep, Storms says Santa may not stop at your house.
If you want to track Santa from home, they make it easy. They have the NORAD website and you can follow his route across the world, which is happening right now.
They expect Santa to reach Michigan tonight starting around 9 p.m., but Storm says it could be earlier.
