Set for this Saturday throughout downtown Bridgman will be the city’s annual Holiday Village celebration.
Greater Bridgman Area Chamber and Growth Alliance Director Nancy Kiernan tells us the event is always a big hit, attracting a few thousand people to town. It’ll kick off with Christmas pancakes at Molly’s Beach Walk Cafe at 10 a.m. and the activities will continue through the evening. There are about 15 different things going on, including a pet parade at 3, a chili cook-off at Lake Time Brewing from 3 to 5, and pictures with Santa Claus at Rising Kites.
And there will be a chance to scoop up some holiday gifts.
“You definitely want to hit Lutheran Emanuel Church for our pop-up market between 1 and 5 in the afternoon,” Kiernan said. “And if you finish all your shopping and want a nice warm beverage, you can pop over to Lake Street Church for hospitality. They’re serving coffee and hot cocoa and snacks, which is great.”
There will also be a live nativity at Immanuel Lutheran Church.
Kiernan says the Holiday Village celebration will be topped off with firedancer Nick May at the Bridgman Courtyard and the Christmas tree lighting at 6.
