Beginning Wednesday, December 3 is the Holiday Whirlpool Appliance Sale to benefit the United Way of Southwest Michigan.
The United Way’s Zack East tells us this is everyone’s chance to scoop up some brand-new appliances at deep discounts, all thanks to the generosity of Whirlpool.
“They donate, and I’m talking literally hundreds of thousands of dollars of appliances every year that we are then tasked to sell at United Way and we get to keep the proceeds and send that money right back out in the community,” East said.
East says the fall appliance sale went quite well, but there’s still plenty to buy. This sale is all online, and the website is WhirlpoolApplianceSale.com.
“All you have to do is just select from anything like KitchenAid small appliances, including stand mixers and blenders and coffee grinders and all sorts of stuff like that. We’ve got, I think, even knives that are up on the website, too, in addition to things as far reaching as refrigerators, certainly dishwashers. We‘ve got lots of those.”
East says the sale will continue through December 12 and the pickup days for items purchased will all be before Christmas, so if you’re looking to get someone a gift, now’s a great chance.
