Early Friday morning, multiple fire departments responded to a house fire on Hope Way near Crystal.
Benton Harbor Department of Public Safety was dispatched at 6:30 a.m. to provide automatic aid to Benton Charter Township Fire Department. Upon arrival, firefighters found flames coming from the front of a small, one-story residence.
During firefighting operations, one Benton Charter Township firefighter fell through the attic to the first floor but was not injured. St. Joseph Department of Public Safety and Medic 1 Ambulance also assisted at the scene.
Officials have not released information about the cause of the fire or any potential injuries to residents.
