Kaden Griffiths of Lakeshore High School Football is our WSJM Sports Player of the Week for the week of October 13, 2025.
In the Lancers’ 56-41 win over Gull Lake, Kaden rushed for six touchdowns, breaking the school record for rushing touchdowns in a single game. On the night, he rushed for 233 yards on 22 carries, and completed three of five passes for 44 yards. In all, he accounted for 277 yards in total offense.
Kaden is also a member of the Lancer Track team, where he is a two time state champion in the long jump. He has won All-Conference honors in football twice, and has earned All-State honors in track twice.
In the classroom, he carries a 3.1 grade point average.
Other finalists for the week were Cale Hackenberg of Marcellus Football, Lou Rome of Berrien Springs Football, and Beatrice Perucchetti and Seth Randall of St. Joe Cross Country.
