Walter Eugene West was born on March 30,1953 in St. Joseph, Michigan. To Joan Ruth West Pine and William West Sr. Walter passed away November 12, 2025. He leaves behind his Son Brian M. West, Fostoria Ohio and daughter Amberlynn (Ryan) Burns, Findlay, Ohio. Four Grandchildren Alexus (Aaron) Fuller, Quenton Burns, Aidan West and Rylan West. Two Great Grandsons Timothy and Dustin Fuller and another Great Grandson expected in January. And His High School Love Jackie.
He attended St. Joseph Public schools until his family moved to Big Paw Paw Lake, and he transferred to Coloma Community School. There, he excelled academically and was an active member of the Tennis Team, National Honor Society, and Drama Club, graduating in 1971.
Walter worked for Noble Shoes for a number of years as an auditor, relocating frequently across different states before ultimately settling in Findlay. He later retired from Whirlpool after over 20 years of dedicated service and also contributed his time by coaching softball and teaching Sunday school.
Walter was known for his love and generosity. He was a gentleman through and through. But he could be mischievous. He liked to make you laugh. He loved a good Western and especially John Wayne, and James Bond series. There was not a movie he had not seen.
As Walter requested there will be no funeral. Memorial contributions can be made to 50 North Findlay Ohio. or Autism Speaks.
Going before him were his parents. Brothers John, Bill, Warren, and Sister Debby.
