George Ronald Murray, a proud Marine and devoted family man, passed away November 2, 2025, at Corewell Heath in St. Joseph. Born June 30, 1946, George lived a life defined by service, love, and dedication to his family.

On November 22, 1969, George married the love of his life, Cherylene Duncan, beginning a partnership that endured through more than five decades of life’s joys and challenges. Together they raised three children — Traci, Joy, and Jeffrey — who were the pride of George’s life. He is predeceased by his beloved children Joy and Jeffrey, whose memories he cherished deeply.

George served his country honorably as a United States Marine, embodying the values of loyalty, courage, and commitment that guided him throughout his life. Those who knew George will remember his quiet strength, sense of humor, and the deep love he had for his family and friends. He was co-owner and President of Blossomland Container. George was a member of American Legion Post 362 in Coloma and served proudly for 12 years on the North Berrien Military Rites Team.

He leaves behind his wife, Cherylene, daughter Traci, three siblings Joyce Farone, Florence Ann (Tim) Behal, and Fred Murray, and many nieces and nephews to cherish his memory.

Along with his two children Joy and Jeffrey George is preceded in death by his parents George and Florine (Brandt) Murray, and his brother-in-law Joseph Farone.
