‘Almost Actorless,’ a special engagement at Niles Scream Park this Thursday and Friday

With Halloween here on Friday, the Niles Scream Park is offering something new this Thursday and Friday evening to celebrate.

Park Manager Aaron Smith tells us they usually close on Halloween and the night before because, believe it or not, people tend not to come by on those nights. But the park this year wanted to host something special for those who aren’t trick or treating or hitting up a party.

Smith says “Almost Actorless” will be two evenings giving everyone a chance to check out everything at the Scream Park with no rush and virtually no staff on hand to provide one-on-one scares.

“It’s a chance for those that might be too timid to enjoy the interior haunted houses,” Smith said. “[They’re] the only things that will be open for Thursday and Friday. At their leisure with like less fright. So, it’ll be full animations and scenic value. There’ll be dressed characters, but they’re not scaring.”

Smith says Almost Actorless will be more laid back, and those who purchase the necessary pass can walk through any exhibit as many times as they’d like.

Then on Saturday, November 1, the Scream Park is trying out an Adults Only evening of scares.

Everything will be open as normal, but without the younger crowd crawling up your heels or instilling a migraine in your brain is what we’ve kind of been saying for this.”

Smith says you can purchase a special RIP ticket for a more interactive, scarier experience. You’ll have to sign a waiver if you want the RIP experience.

The programming this Thursday through Saturday will be everyone’s last chance to check out the Niles Scream Park this year as they’ll start tearing down and planning for next year after Saturday. Check out the website for more details.
