With hearts overflowing with love and heartbreak, the family of Chayse David Ott announces his passing on October 2, 2025. From the moment he entered the world on November 10, 2007, Chayse brought laughter, light, and a little bit of mischief everywhere he went. He had a quick wit, a wild streak that kept everyone smiling, and a heart anchored in faith. At just 17, he packed more joy, love, and life into his years than most do in a lifetime.

Chayse had an unshakable faith in God and proudly walked in His word every day. His deep belief guided his actions, shaped his heart, and inspired those around him. Whether he was helping a friend, lending a hand to a neighbor, or chasing his goals, Chayse lived with compassion, purpose, and a one-of-a-kind personality that could light up any room.

Football was one of Chayse’s greatest passions. A loyal Green Bay Packers fan (through good seasons and bad), he could tell you every player on every team, where they came from, and how they ranked; he just knew the game inside and out. Sundays were sacred for church, football, and a little friendly competition, often complete with good-natured bets against his grandmas.

Chayse also loved being outdoors; hunting, working on his truck, mowing lawns, and spending time with his family and friends. Over the summer, he worked at the local golf course and proudly ran his own lawn care business, showing his dedication and drive from a young age. In high school, he was pursuing a career in welding and dreamed of becoming a skilled tradesman. He had a natural talent for building and creating, and he loved seeing his hard work take shape right before his eyes.

Those who knew Chayse will remember him as a firecracker with a big heart, full of energy, always ready with a joke or grin, and never too busy to help someone out. His love for his family was endless, and one of his favorite roles was being “Uncle Chayse,” where he and his niece were truly two peas in a pod. His loyalty extended to his four-legged brothers, Kane and Bear, who rarely left his side.

Chayse’s generous spirit continues even after his passing, as he was an organ donor, giving others the chance to live through his final, selfless gift. His legacy will live on in the lives he touched, both here on Earth and beyond.

He is preceded in death by his great-grandmother Thelma Zoschke, great-grandfather Junior Hess, great-grandfather David Boyd, and great-grandparents Roland and Virginia Ott.

He is survived by his loving parents, Krysten Stillson (Kile Stillson) and Nick Ott (Courtney Ott); sister, Alexys Hess; niece, Charley Pullins; nephew, Jaxson Pullins; step-sister, Allie Morris (Jacob); and his loving girlfriend, Keziah White. He is also survived by his grandparents, Mike and Doreen Hess, Teresa and Craig Harter, and Jerry Ott, a great grandma Pam Hess, along with numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and countless friends who all loved and embraced him.

Though Chayse’s time on Earth was far too short, his faith, laughter, and love will forever live in the hearts of everyone who had the privilege of knowing him. His light continues to shine through the memories he made, the lives he touched, and the gifts he gave.
