Two men are in custody following a stabbing and vehicle theft early Tuesday in Cass County.

Sheriff Clint Roach says deputies were called around 5:40 a.m. to the area of Patterson Hill Road and Mann Street in Newberg Township. When officers arrived, they found a man who told them he had been riding with two other men when one of them stabbed him and both stole his truck.

Deputies, along with officers from the Pokagon Tribal Police and the Cassopolis Police Department, later found the stolen vehicle and arrested the two suspects.
