Police are investigating the discovery of a body in a Sawyer pond on Monday.
The Chikaming Township Police Department says officers were called to the large pond behind Arlington Metals on Arlington Drive near Three Oaks Road around 11 a.m. when it was spotted.
As of Monday afternoon, police were working to determine the body’s identity, and the circumstances surrounding the death are under investigation. Anyone with information is asked to contact Deputy Chief Roe at the Chikaming Township Police Department.
The Berrien County Sheriff’s Department assisted at the scene.
