Charles Andrew Hill was born on June 07, 1949, in Pontiac, Michigan to the late Frank Benion and Mary Watson (Hill).

Charles professed his faith in Christ and was baptized by Bishop Henry R. Griffin at Bethel Christian Restoration Center in Benton Harbor, Michigan.

In 1968, Charles graduated from Bloomingdale High School in Bloomingdale, Michigan. After receiving his high school diploma, he joined the United States Army in1969.

As a civilian, Charles was employed with Modern Plastic and Brenner Injection Molding. Throughout his career journey he worked in many fields and received certifications in Small Motor Repair, Overhead Crane Operations and High Low Operations. He retired from Superior Steel.

In 1983, Charles became a member of the Naptown Riders of the Benton Harbor Chapter. He was affectionately known as “Homicide”. Charles was also a member of the Strong Riders of the Benton Harbor chapter.

Charles deeply valued his family, friends, and his Strong Riders community. He took great pride in his strong work ethic and often spoke with pride about dedicating his life to hard work.

Charles Andrew Hill, passed away on Friday, August 01, 2025.

He leaves to cherish his memories, two sons, Charles Hill Jr., of Columbus Ohio, Emmanuel Turner of Pontiac Michigan; two daughters, Kateesha Adams (Rufus) of Grandville, Michigan and Yalonda Mims (Antawan) of Benton Harbor, Michigan;11 grandchildren, Rakeisha Pinder (Collin), Jasmine Jackson, Malik Jackson, Corey Longs Jr., Marquise Longs, Angel Longs, Willie D. Longs, Malaysia Mims, Marcus Mims, Marcell Mims, Elajah Walker; great grandchildren, Alaka’i Jackson, Demi Sims, Autumn Longs and Ashanti Longs; four sisters, Marcy Benion of Pontiac Michigan, Yvette Benion of Pontiac Michigan, Sandra Watson of Kalamazoo Michigan, Lillie Watson of Covert Michigan, three brothers, Donnie Benion (Janet) of Pontiac Michigan, Frank Jr. Benion (Cynthia) of Pontiac Michigan and DeWayne Benion of Pontiac Michigan.

In addition to his family, he shared a special parent-like bond with Michael Liggins, whom he considered a son. Charles also leaves to cherish his memories special friends Bobby White, Gye T. Jones, Greg Pitchford (Jodi) and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank Benion & Mary Watson (Hill); four brothers, James Jackson, George Hill, Timothy Watson, Paul Watson, and one sister, Deborah Benion.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Robbins Brothers Funeral Home, Benton Harbor.
