Linda Ruth Garwood, 79, of Inverness, Florida, formerly of Cass County, Michigan, died peacefully November 17, 2023 in the comfort of her husband’s presence.
Her life began January 5, 1944 in Indianapolis, Indiana, the older of two children and the only daughter of Kenneth and Pearl Tyson. She married Bernard Allan Garwood August 2, 1997 in Bethany Missionary Church in Jimtown, Indiana.
Linda worked as a licensed beautician for over thirty years.
Linda will be greatly missed by family and friends.
Family and friends will gather Saturday, November 25, 2023 from 10:00 a.m. until time of service at 11:00 a.m. in Wagner Family Funerals Connelly Chapel, 202 North Broadway Street, Cassopolis. Linda will be laid to rest in Prairie Grove Cemetery in Penn Township.
The family prefers contributions in memory of Linda be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, Tennessee 38105-9959,
or Shriners Hospital for Children, 2211 North Oak Park, Chicago, Illinois 60707.
