In South Haven, the Dyckman Park Fireplace Project is near completion. There were hopes that it would be completed by Thanksgiving, but with unforeseen supply chain shortages that is becoming unlikely.

SHOUT for South Haven initiated the project after raising about $25,000. In addition to that money, the city of South Haven got a grant of $40,000 to go toward the project, but soon succeeded $50,000 with donations from more than 100 donors.

SHOUT says the ribbon cutting ceremony has been postponed to a later date that has yet to be announced. The upcoming holidays and the completion date being unknown, were both factors in delaying the ceremony.
