Hazel M. Dubar, 83, of Millburg, died Monday, July 10, 2023 at her home.

Hazel was born on August 23, 1939 in Chicago to John and Lucille Crowe. She married her husband Jerry on April 2, 1978 and together they celebrated 45 years of marriage. The Dubar family owned Jerry’s Body Shop in Millburg for over 50 years. Hazel was active in sports in her younger years, including bowling and volleyball. She enjoyed family get togethers and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Hazel’s family includes her husband Jerry, her children Mike (Lyn) Scheffler of West Branch, MI., Mike (Myrna) Dubar of Dowagiac, Sheila (Lao) Wier of Berrien Center, Don (Doris) Scheffler of Chesterton, IN., Janet (Jon) Lentz of Marietta, GA., Jim (Tina) Scheffler of Eau Claire, Joe (Melissa) Scheffler of Watervliet, John (Anabel) Scheffler of Holland, MI., and David (Sue) Dubar of Benton Harbor, her sister June Hanson of Arlington Heights, IL., her 27 grandchildren and many great grandchildren.
Hazel is preceded in death by her daughter Debbie Scheffler and two brothers Bill and George.
