Charles “Chuck” Collins of Buchanan, Michigan, died of cancer, April 7, 2023 at home. He was born July 1, 1934 in Iowa and grew up in the state of Washington. May 1, 1971, he married Margaret Kleinert. They resided in western suburbs of Detroit while Chuck worked for Ford Motor Co. In 1992, they ‘retired’ to Buchanan, Michigan.
Charles was preceded in death by his mother, Helen (Collis) Collins, and his brother, Bob Collins. He is survived by his wife, Marge, nephews, Todd Collins and Scott Collins, and their families in the Spokane, Washington area.
There will be no services. Memorial donations can be made to Caring Circle Hospice, 4025 Health Park Lane, St. Joseph, MI 49085. Arrangements have been entrusted to Hoven Funeral Home, Buchanan. Online condolences may be made at www.hovenfunerals.com.
