Mary Louise Elliott

Services celebrating her life will be held at the Napier Parkview Baptist Church on Thursday, June 23, at Noon. The family will receive friends and relatives beginning at 11:00 AM on Thursday at the church. Burial will follow in Crystal Springs Cemetery. Mary was born on January 27, 1933 in Gary, IN to Charles and Iola Bloomer. She married her husband, Edward P. Elliott, on June 8, 1952 in Benton Harbor and he preceded her in death on May 14, 1990. Together they celebrated 38 years of marriage. Mary graduated from Benton Harbor High School and the Moody Bible Institute. She was a longtime member of the Napier Parkview Baptist Church and enjoyed studying the Bible and being a scholar. Mary was employed at the Shephard Product Company from the 1976 until her retirement. She was also an Avon Representative in the Benton Harbor area for a long time. Mary enjoyed gardening, shopping, playing Bingo and listening to music. She loved the Lord, her family and the Benton Harbor area.

To cherish her memory she leaves her family which includes her son, Edward D. Elliott, of St. Joseph Township; her grandson, Kevin S. Ford; her 4 great grandchildren; a host of nieces and nephews; and a host of friends. She was preceded in death by a son, Kevin L. Elliott, her parents, and her 4 siblings, Ernest, Lee, Charles, and Estelle.
