Visitation will be 10 a.m. to 12 noon Monday, May 2, at Bright Star Tabernacle, Eau Claire. A memorial service will follow at 12 noon, with Pastor Mike Fields officiating. Darlene was born Nov. 16, 1961, in Worcester, Mass., to Michael Anthony and Donna Darlene (Vallieres) Duffy, Sr. On Nov. 15, 1986, she married Hobart Gene McLaughlin Jr. In addition to caring for her family, she was employed by Ausco Products Inc. for 39 years, the last 20 as a buyer.
She is survived by her husband, Gene; three children: Rachel Louise (Havian) Jasper-Belmontes, Toni Leigh McLaughlin, and Mathew Alan (Samantha) Clark; father, Michael Duffy Sr.; mother, Donna Williams; stepfather, Larry Williams; four siblings: Michael (Sherrie) Duffy, Michelle Duffy, Danny Duffy, and Dale (Rhonda) Duffy; nine grandchildren: Annaleeh, Julian, Ava, Dylan, Adrien, Vanessa, Harper, Dominic, and Dallas; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her stepmother, Lucille Kay Duffy.
Darlene was so loved and will be deeply missed by her family and much extended family.
