A new distinction has been given to Caring Circle of Spectrum Health Lakeland. Caring Circle is a veteran hospice program, and it’s now been awarded level 5 partner status though We Honor Veterans, a program of the National Hospice and Palliative Care Organization in collaboration with the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs. Spectrum Health Lakeland says the level 5 distinction is the highest partner level and is awarded to hospice providers throughout the country who have proven their ability to provide quality care to veterans receiving hospice services. Caring Circle offers programming specific to veterans that includes veteran-to-veteran visits, celebration of veteran holidays, and the Veteran Support Services program.
