
Michigan is reporting 954 new cases of COVID-19 for Tuesday. The Michigan Department of Health and Human Services coronavirus dashboard shows Michigan has had a total of more than 598,000 COVID cases since the start of the pandemic and 15,699 deaths. There were 29 deaths reported for Tuesday, eight of which were identified through a review of vital records. Berrien County was listed with eight new cases, now at a total of 10,847 cases since the pandemic began. The county has had 226 deaths, the same as Monday. Van Buren County on Tuesday reported nine new cases over Monday for a pandemic total of 4,782. The county has had 86 deaths, an increase of one. The state’s vaccine dashboard shows 2.68 million doses have been administered in Michigan as of Monday. In Berrien County, there have been 43,700 shots given. They just did another 1,500 at a large clinic at Lake Michigan College on Tuesday. In Van Buren County, there have been 18,700 doses administered.
