Thomas Gipson, 40, of Niles, passed away at his home, with his family by his side, on Wednesday, April 29, 2020.
Thomas was born in South Bend, Indiana, on July 20, 1979, to Theresa Dewey and Armon Gipson.
On July 2, 2005, Tom married Dana Schoen at a ceremony in Tennessee. He worked for many years as a maintenance man at Molded Acoustical Products. He was the proud father of four children. Tom was an outgoing man, who enjoyed cracking jokes and making others laugh.
He is preceded in death by his step-father, Duane Vance.
Tom will be remembered by his wife, Dana Gipson; children, Madison, Julien, Peyton, and Ryder; parents, Armon Gipson of Tennessee, and Theresa Vance of Niles; siblings, John (Lisa) Gipson of Niles and Shawnice (Dennis) Lawson of Niles; nine nieces and nephews; and many extended family members and close friends.
The family will be hosting a private memorial service to remember Tom.
In the coming weeks, the family will invite friends to join them at a joint memorial service for Tom and his step-father, Duane Vance.
Memorial contributions in Tom’s honor may be made to the American Liver Foundation, 1845 N. Farwell Ave., #312, Milwaukee, WI 53202.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Brown Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Niles.
