St. Joseph/Maud Preston Palenske Memorial Library holding Downtown Poetry Walk throughout April

The St. Joseph/Maud Preston Palenske Memorial Library is inviting everyone to take in its Inaugural Downtown Poetry Walk, taking place all throughout April.

The library says the walk will celebrate National Poetry Month by highlighting poetic works submitted by authors from around the state, with the theme of “Transitions.”

With the collaboration of businesses in the downtown St. Joseph area, poem posters will be displayed throughout the month so anyone strolling around downtown St. Joseph can take in a little culture.

Information on the poems, poets, and the poster locations can be found by visiting the library’s website, and poems along the walk also have a QR code taking visitors to a “digital poetry walk” so each poem can be seen.
