Jeanetta Diane Isek, 78, passed away on Friday, February 27, 2026, in South Bend, Indiana.
Jeanetta was born on March 6, 1947 in Tullahoma, Tennessee to the late Joseph Franklin Grooms and Ruby Jewel (Miles) Grooms.
Along with her parents, Jeanetta was preceded in death by her loving husband, Raymond R. Isek; son, Tony Grooms, and siblings, Joseph Grooms, Jewel Dreher, Jean Grooms, Jack Grooms, and Jeff Grooms.
Left to cherish the memory of Jeanetta is her son, Scott (Amy) Gutierrez and siblings, Jim Grooms, Jerry Grooms, and Joy Irwin.
Jeanetta found joy in life’s simple pleasures, especially spending quiet moments with a good book and creating beautiful pieces through her crocheting. Her patience, creativity, and love for these hobbies reflected the warmth she shared with those around her.
Jeanetta will be remembered for her kind heart, calm presence, and the comfort she brought to family and friends. Whether she was turning pages of a favorite story or working carefully on a crochet project, she embraced the simple things that made life meaningful.
She will be dearly missed and fondly remembered by all who knew and loved her.
In keeping with Jeanetta’s wishes, she will be laid to rest privately at Mission Hills Memorial Gardens.
