Janet Kay Conner, 78, of Stevensville, passed away, Saturday, February 7, 2026 at Corewell Health Lakeland Hospital in St. Joseph.
Private Family Services will be held at Hickory Bluff Cemetery in Stevensville. Memorial donations in Janet’s name may be made to Lincoln Township Public Library. Janet was born February 9, 1947 in St. Joseph to Robert F. & Florence C. Yack. She graduated from St. Joseph High School, Class of 1965. On October 23, 1965, she married Douglas F. Conner in St. Joseph. Janet dedicated her life to caring for her home and her family. She cherished the time spent with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
Janet is survived by her husband Doug; her son Douglas L. (Carrie) Conner of Stevensville; three grandchildren-Jessica (Josh Jones) Schmaltz, Jaclyn (Ben Masters) Sandberg, Ryan (Kayla) Conner; nine great-grandchildren-Addison, Hoyt, Connor, Gavin, Jameson, Adrianna, Garrett, Blayke & Bailey; four brothers-Robert (JoAnn) Yack of St. Joseh, Roger Yack of Kentucky, Raymond (Laurie) Yack of Niles, Douglas Yack of Bridgman; and numerous nieces & nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, her sister Sally Garrett, and her brother Ronald Yack.
