The Women’s Service League (WSL) has announced that New Heights Christian Community Development Association, Inc. (New Heights CCDA) will be the beneficiary of the 2026 Women’s Service League Charity Ball.
The event is scheduled for Friday, February 27, from 6 to 10 p.m. at Union + Social, 216 Court Street, St. Joseph.
Organizers say the annual Charity Ball brings together community members for an evening of dinner, entertainment, and a silent auction, raising funds to support local nonprofit organizations that strengthen families and neighborhoods across southwest Michigan.
“Since 1931, Women’s Service League has invested in organizations that create lasting, positive change,” said Shannon Luczak, Chair of the WSL Charity Ball.
“We chose New Heights CCDA as our charity partner because their mission aligns deeply with WSL’s commitment to supporting women, children, and families,” said Luczak.
New Heights CCDA serves Berrien County families by addressing practical barriers to stability and long-term success. Programs such as the Auto Ministry, Community Food Network, and Laundry Hub provide transportation, access to healthy food, and safe community spaces, helping families move from scarcity to stability.
Chris Britton, Executive Director of New Heights CCDA, said the organization is “incredibly grateful” for WSL’s support, which will strengthen their ability to assist local families.
The 2026 Charity Ball will feature a Hollywood Glam theme, with semi-formal attire encouraged. Proceeds from the event will directly support New Heights CCDA’s programs. Tickets are available for purchase online through February 6.
