Visit Southwest Michigan has teamed up with Mid-West Family Marketing and Media to launch a new radio station aimed at showcasing the region.
Visit Southwest Michigan Radio is set to start airing January 26, 2026 on 106.1 FM and streaming worldwide, offering a mix of music and programming that highlights attractions, events, and community stories from across the region.
Visit Southwest Michigan Director Marcy Simpson says the station is designed to connect listeners with the people, places, and experiences that define Southwest Michigan, while also supporting the community. Mid-West Family Marketing and Media says the station aligns with its long-standing mission of community service and provides a way for visitors to stay connected to the area even after they leave.
A launch celebration and ribbon cutting for Visit Southwest Michigan Radio will be held Monday, January 26 at noon, hosted by the two partners and the Southwest Michigan Regional Chamber.
